2 15/16" | 1 15/16" | $99 | Great silver color on this NC tooth. Also, very large for the location. A small bit of serration/tip nickage
keeps this one priced much less than a "perfect" specimen. See close ups of nice side cusps! These teeth are from a NC river (exact location unkonwn), and to the best of my knowledge, they might come out of early Oligocene deposits. I call them rics, some call them angustidens. Personally the semantics are not important to me. The fact is that these teeth run much smaller than the angustidens from the big SC rivers, and you don't see nearly as many of them on the market. My best *guess* is that they are aged somewhere in between the "traditional" Harleyville type rics and the big SC river angustidens from later in the Oligocene.

1 9/16" | SOLD! | One of the neatest teeth I've ever seen. Very rare ric/aksuaticus from Kazakhstan, very
robust/chunky. Awesome example of evolution early on in the Otodus/Carcharocles evolution. Side cusps are large and
irregularly serrated.
